[News] A HITCH TO THE STICKS FESTIVAL RETURNING OCTOBER 2018

Die-hard music fans listen up! The chance to board your very own Almost Famous bus tour is back and you best believe it’ll be the trip of a lifetime. Presenting the second installment of A Hitch To The Sticks!

Set to reignite the touring camaraderie of grassroots Aussie pub rock, A Hitch To The Sticks will give punters the chance to create memories and friendships for life on a unique three-day touring music festival across Regional Victoria. Taking place from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th October, only 7 months on from its massive sold out debut in March, the second Hitch To The Sticks Festival promises to be bigger, better, and badder than ever – so strap in and buckle up!

Australian rock legend and bus host, Dallas Frasca will take 50 lucky passengers on their very own tour bus traversing the best-hidden gems and local hangouts that North East Victoria has to offer – not to mention the best homegrown regional talent. As well as the expected epic sing-alongs, the AHTTS tour bus will offer onboard ticket holders access to exclusive gigs, campfire jams, celebrity hitchhikers and legendary escapes galore in an all-inclusive three-day musical safari with one hell of a lineup.

Joining the previously announced AHTTS artists Dallas Frasca and The Northern Folk will be an absolute smorgasbord of Australian music royalty and rapidly rising local talent including Jebediah, Kate Ceberano, Killing Heidi, Tim Rogers, William Crighton, This Way North, The Quick & The Dead, Lee Rosser, The Greensmen, Droid, Ellen James, Mac’s Peak, Scratch Match, Rob Ely, Bricky B, Petty Crimes DJ and more!

Kicking off in Melbourne, the Hitch To The Sticks bus will once again make its rowdy way up the Hume through Seymour, Moorngag, Lima East, Winton, Glenrowan, Wangaratta and Moyhu for 10 events over three days, with six exclusive gigs for bus ticket holders and four massive public shows. Do not miss it. With super limited bus tickets available, the time to book your seat is now! However, for those who can’t make it onboard the legendary bus, there are heaps of opportunities to follow all the action and mingle with the awesome bus folk at four public events throughout the weekend.

Why not grab yourself a weekend pass, which will get you into all four of the public events, commencing on the Friday 12th at Moorngag Hall, Moorngag where a stellar lineup of homegrown regional talent including Mac’s Peak, Scratch Match, Rob Ely + Ellen James will all be performing memorable sets in an iconic bush hall setting.

On Saturday evening at Apex Park in Wangaratta, AHTTS will set Wangaratta alight, unveiling a killer event bigger than anything the town has hosted before with Perth legends Jebediah, multiple ARIA award winners Killing Heidi, rock icon Tim Rogers, William Crighton, The Northern Folk, and Petty Crimes DJs

Recover from the overload of awesomeness on Sunday morning at the festival’s traditional rock ‘n’ roll breakfast at the Malt Shed from 9am with performances from Lee Rosser, The Greensmen + DROID. Then strap yourself back in for a massive Sunday afternoon at the Moyhu Hotel’s now famous beer garden, where a dead-set certified member of Australian Music Royalty Kate Ceberano and This Way North will take to the custom-built stage and blow the crowd away with their powerhouse performances.

With the early bird bus tickets already sold out, you’ll need to be quick to secure yourself a set on the bus. You won’t want to miss this!
