[News] DASHVILLE SKYLINE 2017 ANNOUNCES FIRST ROUND OF ARTISTS

A tasty portion of artists heading along to the third annual Dashville Skyline, Australia’s very own Cosmic Country Weekender, held at beautiful Dashville this October Long Weekend, have been announced.

A festival celebrating the roots of Americana, psychedelia and alternative country music. From the golden era of the mid ’60s through to today’s modern artists: the songs, the culture, the legacy, the vibe. It’s about getting the best artists and songwriters together in one location, sharing this timeless music, kicking back and having a bit of fun over a lazy long weekend.

Pitched as a celebration of alternative country music and culture in its varied forms, the three-day camping festival hosts over 30 live performances, mouth-watering American-inspired food and bevvies, boutique market stalls, an animal petting zoo and much, much more.

Held at the same location as The Gum Ball, Dashville Skyline provides an amazing experience for music lovers and has earned quite the name over the last few years as the ultimate weekend escape, full of laid-back country-esque music and old-fashioned family fun.

In 2017, we are particularly pleased to bring some amazing talent from all around the globe to the humble confines of Dashville at Lower Belford.

International artists include Mark Olson (ex Jayhawks) & Ingunn Ringvold from US and Norway, Tim Easton from Nashville, Dan Tuffy’s new musical project Songs From Dan (an expat based in the Netherlands), Mel Parsons from NZ and The Roamin’ Jasmine from the colourful streets of New Orleans.

Australian artists announced today include Cash Savage and The Last Drinks, William Crighton, Immigrant Union, Claire Anne Taylor, Lachlan Bryan & The Wildes, Pony Face, Emma Russack and Roadhouses.
