Dashville Skyline, Australia’s very own Cosmic Country Weekender, has announced the final portion of artists heading to its hallowed bushland home in the Hunter Valley NSW this October Long Weekend (September 29 through to October 1).
The Dashville team is incredibly pleased to welcome another 14 artists along for this cosmic country ride. Topping this latest announcement is rising superstar and Tennessee local, Valerie June, ARIA award-winning band Oh Mercy and one of Ireland’s greatest singer-songwriters, Declan O’Rourke.
Other acts joining the idyllic weekend camping event include emerging rock ‘n’ blues superstars The Teskey Brothers, Brisbane folk rocker Paddy McHugh, Sydney-based Americana specialists Fallon Cush, Melbourne’s finest songwriters Lucie Thorne and Matt Walker, Nevada native Jen Mize, Melbourne country act Georgia State Line and handpicked locals Magpie Diaries, Ben Leece, Lyle Dennis Express, Nicholas Conners, Demi Mitchell and the formidable family force of the Dashville Progress Society.
Pitched as a celebration of alternative country music and culture in its varied forms, the three-day camping festival hosts over 30 live performances, mouth-watering American-inspired food and bevvies, boutique market stalls, an animal petting zoo and much, much more. Amongst the food on offer will be The Nighthawk Diner, Get in the Q and Gourmet BBQ, who’ll be making incredible burgers, slow-cooked meats and hotdogs respectively.
Held at the same location as The Gum Ball, Dashville Skyline provides an amazing experience for music lovers and has earned quite the name over the last few years as the ultimate weekend escape, full of laid-back country music, bush camping and family fun.
