[News] GUNNS ANNOUNCE HEADLINE SHOWS

Gunns-2

Ahead of their National support slot with Strokes legend Albert Hammond Jr. and in conjuction with the release of their highly anticipated She’s A Rainbow EP out now via Spinning Top Records, psychedelic surf quartet Gunns have today announced two very special headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne this month.

The EP features title track ‘She’s A Rainbow’ , psych gem ‘The Fool,’ and latest single ‘Who’s Gonna Be Your Dog’, which together have clocked over 180K SoundCloud streams. The 5-track debut playfully explores themes of intimacy, the end of the world and kaleidoscopic visions. Perth artist Luisa Hansel is responsible for the EP artwork, inspired by one of her pieces fittingly titled ‘Space Rainbow’.

Gunns have graced some coveted national stages, supporting The Preatures and San Cisco in 2014, whilst releasing a split 7” with good mates HAMJAM. The band has played Perth’s WAM Festival, where they were nominated for ‘Best Pop Act’ and ‘Best Bassist’ at the 2014 WAM Awards. Gunns are set to support Fremantle friends San Cisco again this March for the new WA summer concert series ‘Sunset Sounds.’
