Following in the footsteps of legendary sister event Austin City Limits Festival, the team behind Splendour in the Grass and Falls Festival are thrilled to announce a brand new celebration of Australia’s happening harbour city, Sydney City Limits!
Nestled amid the lush, inner city oasis that is Centennial Park in summer, Sydney City Limits is a one day, all ages, centrally located, creatively curated fiesta in the sunshine that combines the best of music, food, art and community into a Sydney block party like no other.
With 30 acts sprinkled over four stages, Sydney City Limits boasts a bill that’s hotter than a Bunnings sausage sizzle and ten times as tasty. From icons of music and indie rock royalty to home-grown heroes and the next big things, you’ll be feeling phat and happy in no time.

Alongside the music there’s going to be some seriously good nosh on offer at Sydney City Limits. Curated by the foodie beasts behind Mary’s Newtown and The Unicorn in Paddington, SCL will offer a mouth-watering menu of eats and treats guaranteed to satisfy.
Sydney’s best chefs and restaurants will serve up signature dishes and SCL’s Foodie Fare, while all your favourite food trucks deal out a degustation derby.
When you’re not watching bands or grazing you might want to check out SCL’s open-air gallery space where painting, photography, performance, video and street art collide in glorious fashion. SCL has collaborated with some of Sydney’s most innovative artists to bring you vibrant visions and inspiring snapshots of the city seen through their eyes. Plus there’s the Makers Market where you’ll find an eclectic array of local artisans selling fashion, jewellery, art, merch and more.
Got a few tiny dancers or rugrat rappers at home? Bring them along! SYDNEY KIDDIE LIMITS offers a festival within the festival, just perfect for pint-sized party people and their parents. SKL is a dead set family wonderland, jam-packed with awesome activities, art workshops and some seriously scrumptious snacks. There’s even a chill-out lounge and a baby change area in case you have to deal with a poonami (it’s a real thing!). Mini-music lovers unite!
