[News] JAMES VINCENT MCMORROW ANNOUNCES SECOND SYDNEY SHOW

Due to overwhelming demand, James Vincent McMorrow has today announced a second Sydney date to his September 2017 tour of Australia. McMorrow will now play a second date on September 28 at The Factory in Sydney.

Having previously played to rapturous audiences across the country at the start of this year, McMorrow’s bond with his Australian fans is stronger than ever. These shows next month will be the first time Aussie fans have the opportunity to hear the stunning songs from his latest album, True Care (out now via Dew Process).

McMorrow played sold out major theatres across Australia in March earlier this year, including the Sydney Opera House and two nights at Melbourne’s Recital Centre.

He went on to release True Care with little warning in May, with the intension of breaking the traditional release cycle and to capitalise on his creative force and energy. The 15-track album, featuring the stunning first single and title track ‘True Care’, arrived less than a year after the release of McMorrow’s critically acclaimed We Move album, which he delivered only last September.

The September tour will now see McMorrow play three intimate club dates in Sydney and Melbourne, as well as shows in Brisbane and Auckland supporting UK trio, London Grammar.

For the Melbourne and Sydney shows James will play two sets – the first set will be around 45 minutes and will be James and band playing True Care from start to finish. After an intermission he’ll then be performing a second set of songs from his three previous albums, including stand outs from We Move.
