TEG Dainty announced today that GRAMMY® Award winning singer songwriter k.d. lang will tour Australia in July on her Ingénue Redux Tour, celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the release of her first all-original album Ingénue.
Paul Dainty, President and CEO of TEG Dainty has had a long association with lang spanning three decades. He said today: “I am thrilled k.d. is touring to celebrate this iconic album which was released in 1992, Ingénue is on the list of albums everyone should listen to before they die. To see k.d. and her stunning band perform the album in its entirety, along with her other major hits, is going to be a very special evening for Australian fans.”

When Ingénue was released, New Musical Express said “You will fall in love with Ingénue. In 2013, she was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the Juno Awards. She has appeared alongside musical luminaries such as Roy Orbison, Bonnie Raitt, Elton John, Loretta Lynn, and Tony Bennett. She is renowned for her live shows, prompting the New York Times’ Stephen Holden to observe: “Few singers command such perfection of pitch. Her voice, at once beautiful and unadorned and softened with a veil of smoke, invariably hits the middle of a note and remains there.”
