Australian singer/songwriter Kim Churchill will celebrate summer with a comprehensive tour in support of ‘Single Spark’, his new single and opening track from his Silence/Win album which has garnered amazing reviews since it was released in May this year. The ‘Single Spark’ tour will take place in metropolitan cities and some key regional areas with tickets for the January shows going on sale 10 am Friday 31st October.

Born in Canberra and growing up in the tiny New South Wales coastal town of Merimbula, this nomadic multi-instrumentalist has become renowned for his deft guitar work spending most of his time on the road intertwining memorable performances with his love of travel and surfing. Kim Churchill fascinates his audience by juggling guitar, bass drum, harmonica, tambourine and percussion all whilst delivering an extensive and remarkable vocal range.

At only 24 years old his extraordinary gig list includes a spot on the Glastonbury and Beautiful Days Festivals, The Montreal Jazz Festival and North America’s most scenic and intimate festival, Telluride Blues and Brews. He’s opened for both Billy Bragg and Michael Franti and completed successful international headline tours through Canada, the UK and Europe.

In more recent news Kim has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Sony ATV and he’s also inked an album deal in UK with Atlantic Records who will release Silence/Win at the end of October. Kim will finish 2014 on stage at Falls and Southbound Festivals.
