With her highly anticipated sophomore album Blastoma set for release on 10 June via her own label Maximillion Brown, Ngaiire today announces her first national headline tour since 2013. She will be joined by special guests Melbourne producer and multi-instrumentalist LANKS – who has just come off his own headline tour supporting his new single, ‘Golden Age’ – as well as co-collaborator, and one half of Blastoma’s production team Jack Grace.

To celebrate, Ngaiire offers up the next cut of her forthcoming LP. Titled ‘I Can’t Hear God Anymore’, the devastating track tells more of the Blastoma story, the heartbreak that came before the strong survival messages of ‘Once’ and ‘Diggin’.

Fresh off the Groovin the Moo tour and set to play Splendour in the Grass, Ngaiire’s unique brand of future soul has seen ‘Diggin’, the second single from the upcoming album, achieve high rotation spins from radio around the country, and the first single ‘Once’, hit #73 on triple j’s Hottest 100.

On her second LP, Blastoma, Ngaiire has worked with long time collaborators Paul Mac and Jack Grace, and also called in new friend Megan Washington to contribute on a couple of tracks. Ngaiire has gone some way to establish herself further as a songwriting powerhouse and vocal force to be reckoned with in the past couple of years, having played sold out shows around Australia and supported John Legend, Alicia Keys, Cody ChestnuTT, and Sufjan Stevens, with upcoming shows with Leon Bridges in July already selling out. With various festivals both internationally and locally under her belt including Glastonbury, CMJ and Falls Festival, last year Ngaiire soulfully interpreted the Tame Impala single ‘The Less I Know The Better’ for triple j’s Like a Version. Those still chasing the spine tingling feeling that her Like A Version elicited can find it in ‘I Can’t Hear God Anymore’; available for individual purchase via iTunes, or as an immediate download with pre-orders of Blastoma.
