[News] PIERCE BROTHERS ANNOUNCE ‘THE RECORDS WERE OURS’ AUSTRALIAN TOUR

Melbourne duo Pierce Brothers are excited to announce their “The Records Were Ours” Australian tour this August/September, taking in in QLD, WA, SA, VIC, NT and NSW. Tickets are on sale for a fan pre sale this Wednesday, with the general onsale this Friday. Their new EP The Records Were Ours, which was released in May debuted at #9 of the ARIA album chart and features the single ‘Take Me Out’, with accompanying video.

After two years in the making and an abundance of new studio and live material, the band released The Records Were Ours as the first in a trilogy of EPs. Pierce Brothers have spent most of the year playing sold out headline shows and festival appearances, here and abroad (to over 90,000 people in the UK/Europe). After “The Records Were Ours” tour in Australia, the guys will be supporting Tash Sultana across the USA and Canada.

Jack Pierce says of the extensive run of dates “We tour all over the world playing shows to many different people and hand on heart our favourite thing to do is play shows in Australia. We can’t wait to play this new record live for our fans!

Pierce Brothers have made their way from busking on the streets of Melbourne to delivering irresistible energy in their world-class, sold out live shows everywhere from England to the Netherlands, New Zealand, Canada and Australia wide. The multi-instrumentalist twin brothers, Jack and Pat, sold 50,000 EPs independently before signing to Warner Music Australia.
