Like Drapes Either Side is the debut album from Soda Eaves.

Primarily the focus of Melbourne-based poet and Hot Palms guitarist Jake Core, Soda Eaves also features contributions from Jordan Ireland (Stolen Violin), Sam Rowe (Dragging Pianos) and Timothy Haines.

Recorded in a Thornbury shed, Like Drapes Either Side is a loose cycle of Australian songs concerning distance, tooth decay and the suburbs. It works as a hazy yet considered whole, blending folk elements with lo-fi rock, dream pop, and field recordings.

Like Drapes Either Side with be out on digitally and on vinyl through Brierfield Flood Press August 12th. The release can be streamed HERE.
