Sydney’s With Confidence have announced an eight-date national headline tour with special guests, Harbours.
Hitting the road in March and April, this will be With Confidence’s first headline run around Australia in over a year since their wildly successful Distance EP Tour in early 2015, which saw sold out signs in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
2016 is already off to an incredible start for With Confidence. The band kicked off the year by joining the Hopeless Records roster and released their brand new single and ode to carefree, ‘We’ll Be Okay’, in early January. Straight after, the boys jumped in the van to support Neck Deep and State Champs on the Australian leg of their world tour. The next lap around the country will be their own, and the very last chance to see With Confidence play their EPs Youth and Distance in full.
Formed in 2012 in Sydney, With Confidence consists of lead vocalist/bassist Jayden Seeley, vocalist/guitarist Inigo Del Carmen, guitarist Luke Rockets, and drummer Joshua Brozzesi.
Their second EP, Distance, was released in January 2015. It was recorded at Electric Sun Studios with Stevie Knight and Dave Petrovic (Tonight Alive, Hands Like Houses, Northlane) at the helm. The response by the fans has been overwhelming and has helped the EP skyrocket to #2 on the iTunes Alternative charts and #10 on the overall iTunes albums chart.
Since then, the four-piece has been growing their profile by touring solidly, supporting big names such as You Me At Six, Tonight Alive, Kids In Glass Houses, Marianas Trench, Real Friends, As It Is, The Maine and, most recently, State Champs and Neck Deep.
Joining With Confidence on the national tour will be Melbourne five-piece punks Harbours. Kicking off the year with a sought after appearance on Unify Festival, Harbours released their debut EP, Nothing Stays The Same, at the tail end of January and have been hailed as one of the Top 10 Ones to Watch in 2016 by triple j Unearthed.
