Australian metalcore predecessors, I Killed The Prom Queen have reunited and are set to release their first new album in six years. Beloved is to be released on February 14 on Epitaph Records.
First single Thirty One & Sevens is a signature Prom Queen tune encompassing everything the band does well – monstrous riffing, jackhammer drumming and vocals that run the gamut from possessed death roars to emotive melodic overtures.
Directed by Robot Army Productions (Bodyjar, Anberlin, Amity Affliction, House vs Hurricane), the video is based in a post-apocalyptic world around two slaves that escape and start a revolution. The video was filmed in a quarry in Anakie, just outside of Geelong and the picturesque Otways in Victoria.
