[News] AINSLIE WILLS SHARES VIDEO FOR ‘FEAR OF MISSING OUT’ + TOUR SUPPORTS ANNOUNCED

Set to release her highly-anticipated new studio album All You Have Is All You Need on Friday 9 August, Ainslie Wills has today unveiled the avant-garde video for ‘Fear Of Missing Out’. Following the release, the Melbourne singer-songwriter will take the stage for a series of intimate performances in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne this August.

On the sprawling and boundless ‘Fear Of Missing Out’, Ainslie wrestles with the existence of internal conflict and consciousness. Directed by Spilting Films, the visual accompaniment was filmed in the shadows of a mercurial sunset at the Cheetham Wetlands in Point Cook, Victoria. “The inspiration for this clip came from a painting by Graeme Drendel called Water Games. I loved the simplicity of the idea that the guys from Spilting Creative came up with based on this painting, the rest as they say is history,” says Ainslie of the clip.

New album, All You Have Is All You Need channels personal realities into timeless music for the modern age. Featuring the APRA nominated songs of the year ‘Running Second’ and ‘Society’, the aforementioned, Fear Of Missing Out and recent track ‘Suzie’, the result is a profound statement of vast emotional depth driven by Ainslie’s flawless balladry.

Produced alongside longtime collaborator Lawrence Folvig, as well as Matt Redlich (Ball Park Music, Emma Louise) and Jono Steer (Gretta Ray, Hiatus Kaiyote), Ainslie says of the upcoming album, “It’s an exploration of the songs/sounds that I wanted to serve in those moments no matter if I felt like they fit together or not. This album is very much about embracing the diversity that creativity can bring and not apologising for it.

Set to showcase her beautifully crafted and honestly told stories on her forthcoming east coast tour, Ainslie will by special guests O’ Little Sister in Brisbane, Bri Clark in Sydney and Loni Rae Thomson in Melbourne.
