Australia’s own Chet Faker will be making his return down under this October! These mark the first Chet Faker shows in Australia since 2015, when he performed to a sold-out Sydney Opera House forecourt crowd and played a ground-breaking five hometown shows at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne.

Often referred to as one of Australia’s most gifted musicians, Chet Faker’s hotly anticipated return comes on the heels of a new single, ‘Something Like This’, and a hugely successful multi-continent tour in support of 2021’s Hotel Surrender album.

Rising to prominence in 2011 with his cover of Blackstreet’s ‘No Diggity’, Chet Faker became a global phenomenon thanks to a 2013 collaborative EP with Flume and his platinum-selling debut studio album, Built On Glass in 2014. The album debuted at No.1 on the ARIA Chart, with three tracks entering triple j’s hottest 100 that year and ‘Talk Is Cheap’ claiming the number one spot. The success of the album saw Chet Faker tour the world, taking the stage at some of the world’s leading festivals, from Coachella to Lollapolooza and more, showcasing his exceptional live performance and winning the hearts of music fans globally.

In 2020, much to the excitement of fans around the world, Chet Faker returned with the release of ‘Low’, followed by his latest album Hotel Surrender (2021). With Rolling Stone defining the record as a “welcome return… created with the same ethereal qualities that turned him into a global sensation”, the project marked a new era. In May, Chet Faker released the new single ‘Something Like This’. More new music is imminent.

Don’t miss out on Chet Faker’s only Australian headline shows as he makes his highly anticipated return home this October.
