Get excited City & Colour fans. Dallas Green’s outfit has burrowed away in the studio through the harsh Canadian winter, and they’ve cooked up something special. First, they revealed an intimate studio video hinting at their anticipated forthcoming fourth studio album. Now, they’ve unveiled haunting first track ‘Of Space & Time’ officially confirming that this record will prove just as lush and emotive as 2011’s multi Juno Award-winning Little Hell album.
The album anticipation STARTS NOW! City & Colour is already poised to take over SxSW in Austin this week and then UK’s enormous Reading & Leads Festivals. They’ll be presenting new songs, with the promise of this new records’ release come the Canadian summer.
City & Colour holds a special place in Australian hearts. The band headlined the 2012 edition of the Groovin’ the Moo festival and sold out a string of sideshows. Not to mention the last City & Colour album achieved gold sales in Australia. It has never been more evident that here, Dallas Green has a home away from home and a very fervent fanbase to accompany.
