One World Entertainment is pleased to announce the return of seminal West Coast hip-hop crew Cypress Hill. With over 18 million albums sold worldwide, a massive back catalogue of hits and their dynamic live show, the group, who have sold out all their previous Australian Tours, will be performing at The Enmore Theatre in Sydney on December 8th and The Forum in Melbourne on December 11th.

Cypress Hill have continually pushed musical boundaries since their inception in the early 90’s. The release of their self-titled debut album in 1991 sold over 2 million copies and established them as one of rap’s most potent groups. They followed this up with their sophomore release, Black Sunday, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Chart in 1993 and recorded the highest Soundscan ever for a hip-hop group. With B-Real and Sen Dog’s distinctive voices and creative lyrical content, the group became international superstars when their hit ‘Insane in the Brain’ crossed-over to the mainstream. Black Sunday went triple platinum in the USA selling over 3.5 million copies and as a result, Cypress Hill became the first rap group to have 2 albums in the Top 10 at the same time. They went on to release six more albums and sold over 18 million copies worldwide, becoming the first Latino-American hip-hop group to achieve platinum and multi-platinum success.

The group’s dynamic stage show sees them performing their hits including ‘Insane In The Brain’, ‘We Ain’t Goin Out Like That’, How I Could Just Kill A Man’, ‘Lick A Shot’, ‘Hits From the Bong’, ‘Dr Greenthumb’ and loads more.

The original South Gate trio of B-Real, Sen Dog and producer, DJ Muggs have reunited to work on a new album that is slated for a spring 2015 release. This is the first time in ten years that the original trio is back together in the studio and their sound is even more psychedelic and booming than ever. Look out for their album coming out in 2015!
