Kimberley Dawn Lysons is an Australian/Canadian singer/songwriter. Over the past 12 months, The Tea Party’s Jeff Martin has been working with Dawn to produce her debut album, with Jeff also featuring heavily musically throughout. The end result is The Spinning Jenny … an album that will be released in two beautifully packaged parts – Volume 1 features 6 tracks in the more Celtic/Bluegrass vein and is out May 17, following with Volume 2 (August release) which focuses on exotic Eastern sounds.
To coincide with the release of Volume 1, DAWN and her 6 piece band will be hitting the East Coast in June for a run of shows. The NSW dates are:
