In anticipation of potential weather events on the east coast in the coming months, Festival X has announced a move to one of Queensland’s premier entertainment venues, Metricon Stadium, a short walk from the original location. As a further win for Gold Coast patrons, the move to Metricon sees a limited number of 16+ aged tickets go on sale. With a new generation of music lovers rarely having the opportunity to see and experience live music over recent years, Festival X is thrilled to open the event up to a new community of festival-goers.

In Perth, the festival has announced a move to the Claremont Showground, providing a more robust infrastructure for the event with an upgrade in space, amenities, security and safety for all festival goers. With these recent changes, Festival organisers aim to secure the best experience for the fans and internationally acclaimed artists across Australia’s most prominent summer touring festival.

Once again, Festival X will represent the very best in Hip Hop, Dance, EDM and Electronic music across multiple stages with a line-up featuring global superstars alongside the hottest local talent.

Headlining is festival favourite and multiple Grammy, Billboard and Brit Award winner, Calvin Harris in his second appearance at Festival X; hot off the heels of his fifth studio album announcement. Alongside, multiple Grammy award winner Megan Thee Stallion is headed down under for her first-ever performances. Chicago based, Trap-N-B rising star Don Toliver is headed to our shores for the first time, following multiple successful releases through Travis Scott’s iconic Cactus Jack records and trance aficionado and local hero MaRLo will also top off a bill.
