Rare Finds are excited to announce hip-hop artist, Genesis Owusu, as the headliner for their East Coast touring circuit in February – presented by Oporto and Pilerats, and supported by Mountain Goat Beer and Arthur St. Studios.
Making his mark on the Australian music scene, Genesis Owusu is continually delivering his own ever-changing and unique style of hip-hop that showcases both his artistic versatility and poetic approach.
His latest single ‘Sideways’, produced by Simon Mavin and Perrin Moss of Hiatus Kaiyote, was added to triple j’s high rotation after director Richard Kingsmill awarded the track 4-and-a-half stars out of 5.
Joining him on the whole run will be, Juñor, who has just revealed the accompanying music video for his latest single ‘Top Flight’ – featuring MANN and produced by Nate Fox (Chance The Rapper). The track was named ‘Best of The Week’ globally by Apple Music and has been warmly received by triple j and Complex AU.
Local supports include Swilo, G Elenil, GNIGHTZ and Kraznoz in Brisbane, KWASI x HFNR, Z. Lewis and DAWS in Melbourne, and Sarah Connor, imcpayne and Ratu in Sydney.
