[News] HAYLEY JENSEN RELEASES NEW SINGLE ‘ROCK BOTTOM’ + ANNOUNCES ‘THE ACOUSTIC EXPERIENCE’ SHOW DATES

Hayley Jensen, a 2 x CMAA Golden Guitar ‘Female Artist of the Year’ finalist, has today released her brand-new country-pop banger, ‘Rock Bottom’ via MGM.

‘Rock Bottom’ explores the journey from heartbreak to resilience with a killer up-beat groove that’s sure to get you moving. The heartfelt lyrics tell the story of falling hard for someone, only to be deceived by their ingenuous ‘fools gold love’. “Amidst the pain and despair of heartache, you discover that hitting rock bottom can actually be a catalyst for a transformative turning point, where ‘the only way is up’, and it is more than possible to emerge stronger than ever before” says Hayley.

‘Rock Bottom’ follows the successful launch of her first independent release in a number of years, ‘Bring It On’, which hit #1 on the Australian Country Radio airplay charts, and the CountryTown Hot 50 airplay charts (peaking at #15 most played Australian Track on Commercial Country Radio), KIX Country Hottest 20 and CMT Australia’s Top 50. It has also just been released to Digital Country Radio across North America (SiriusXM) & Canadian Country Radio.

Both singles follow the release of Hayley’s #1 ARIA Country Album Breakin Hearts which re-entered the Top 10 on multiple occasions. Eight radio hits were lifted from the record, including the title track which was a #1 Australian CountryTown hit & added to Spotify’s ‘Fresh Country’ playlist. ‘Rock Bottom’ is co-written with the same winning combination who wrote ‘Breakin’ Hearts’: Jensen, Troy Kokol (also producer) & Chris O’Neil.

‘Rock Bottom’ was produced by Troy Kokol at Reluctant Cowboy Records, Canada, who was also at the helm on her ARIA #1 Charting Country Album, Breakin’ Hearts and her last single ‘Bring It On’.

To launch the new single, Hayley is going on tour, sharing her new songs, including unreleased tracks, plus hits from her previous albums in an intimate show, ‘The Acoustic Experience’, and has a number of festival performances lined up throughout 2023.
