[News] HOLLOW COVES UNVEIL SOPHOMORE ALBUM ‘NOTHING TO LOSE’ + ANNOUNCE AUSTRALIAN AND NZ TOUR DATES

The road Hollow Coves have been on to get to this point, where they celebrate the release of their second studio album Nothing To Lose, has been one marked by many moments of self-discovery; creative rejuvenation and fresh inspiration.

Between songwriters and musicians Matt Carins and Ryan Henderson, the music of Hollow Coves represents a heartfelt, tonally rich blend of indie-folk music that international and Australian audiences have been loving. With Nothing To Lose, Hollow Coves take the strong foundations of their sound, meticulously laid across years’ worth of releases, and amplify it with an evolved blend of storytelling and musical influences; 1 billion global streams, 200 million YouTube views & 2.4 million Shazams.

Nothing To Lose was recorded at Rainbow Valley Studios with Matt Corby (Budjerah, Sia, Tash Sultana), the ARIA-winning performer coming onboard to produce and engineer the album, as well as co-write three of the tracks with Hollow Coves, Alex Henriksson and Chris Collins (Middle Kids, Tyne-James Organ, Gretta Ray).

Featuring singles including ‘Photographs’ and ‘See You Soon’, Nothing To Lose collects stories and observations that have resonated with Carins and Henderson on a deep level.

In support of Nothing To Lose, Hollow Coves have also announced their Australian & New Zealand headline tour dates for 2024 – their biggest and farthest reaching Australian tour to date, off the back of a slew of previously sold-out national shows. Starting in New Zealand’s Christchurch, Wellington & Auckland, the band then returns to Australian shores for shows in Brisbane, Hobart, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth & Margaret River.
