Beginning as two separate bands and following an incident of being double booked at a studio in Toronto, Valley – Rob Laska, Mickey Brandolino, Alex Dimauro and Karah James – formed in 2014 and began discovering their musical style which ultimately became the melting pot of sounds that make Valley the unique alt-pop pro’s they are today.

The band independently released a series of EPs and singles, as well as their debut album, MAYBE in 2019, gaining them loyal fans across Canada and North America. It wasn’t until 2020 that Valley had their biggest year yet. After the release of their first EP as a signed artist, sucks to see you doing better, Valley began to receive some well-deserved recognition with a nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year at Canada’s most coveted music awards, the JUNOS.

On a trajectory to global success, Valley released their next EP, Last Birthday in 2021, in the midst of a global pandemic; a time where people needed music the most. Taken from the EP, the track ‘Like 1999’ gained attention on TikTok which catapulted the band into the eyes and ears of music lovers across the globe as well as earning them their second Juno nomination for Group of the Year.

Now, in 2023, Valley are entering their most exciting year yet. Having just released ‘Break For You’, the third track from their highly anticipated album, Lost In Translation, dropping Friday 23 June, the band kicked off their Lost In Translation Tour of North America in April, with two sold-out shows in their home city of Toronto as well as sell-outs in New York, Los Angeles and Vancouver. Lost In Translation also features the 2023 released singles ‘Throwback Tears’ and ‘Good, but not together’.

Don’t miss out as Valley’s infectious melodies and captivating live performance grace the stage in Australia for the first time this August!
