Jordie Lane is back from America with his long awaited first full length studio album in 5 years, GLASSELLLAND (pronounced Glas-Sell-Land). To celebrate the Australian album release, Jordie Lane embarks on a massive national tour with his new band The Sleepers. Sweeping across Australia’s major capital cities and key regional venues this October and November.

Alongside their album release tour, Jordie Lane & The Sleepers will also appear at upcoming spring festivals including Dashville Skyline, Fremantle Festival, Mullum Music Fest, and Queenscliff Music Festival.

GLASSELLAND was written and produced by Lane alongside co-collaborator and high in demand LA based Songwriter/Producer Clare Reynolds (Timbaland, Haley Reinhart, Greyson Chance). They also took on the insane task of building tear down transitory studios in several spaces in North East Los Angeles and engineering and playing each and every instrument and sound on the album.

The record is a personal account of the way Lane sees the world with an at times tragic and vain or facetious delivery of heavy social themed lyrics, lathered with lush and sometimes frightening sonic landscapes.

After Rolling Stone Magazine stated Lane’s 2009 debut Sleeping Patternsmay come to be regarded as one of the most assured records ever by a local artist” and the follow up, Blood Thinner receiving nomination for ‘Best Blues & Roots album’ at the Australian Independent Record Awards in 2011, GLASSELLLAND is sure to rise to the occasion. The album’s first single ‘Frederick Steele McNeil Ferguson’ achieved steady high rotation on Double J in 2016 along with it’s intensely powerful ‘one camera’ video clip, premiered by Rolling Stone earlier this year.

Lane has also had plenty of love in the USA of late, scoring national airplay on the 26-million subscriber based Sirius-XM Radio, coveted performances on NPR’s ‘Mountain Stage’ and tours with the likes of Grammy winner Ruthie Foster, and Pennsylvania’s, The Stray Birds covering 38 states of America.

The long awaited GLASSELLLAND album release & tour come as a welcome return to the Australian stage for Lane, after his starring role in the stage show of ‘The Beatles: Rubber Soul Revolver’ tour which saw Lane play alongside Marlon Williams and Husky in Australia’s premier concert halls including Sydney Opera House and Hamer Hall last August.
