After releasing his acclaimed debut EP Stories to Tell, Just A Gent, the 19 year old electronic wunderkind is heading back out around this country debuting his first ‘live’ shows for Just A Tour, today announcing 18 year old triple j favourite – producer KUREN as the main support. KUREN has had incredible 2016 with his single ‘Home’ ft. Ben Alessi highly rotated across triple j as well as winning the prestigious NIMA triple j unearthed competition – performing at this year’s awards in Darwin. The young indigenous producer from Hillston was also recently apart of the SBS program My Grandmother’s Lingo providing the soundtrack to the acclaimed series.
Joining the tour in Sydney will be be current buzz duo MOZA who’s recent single ‘Empty Streets’ with Kota Banks has ticked over half a million plays and reached #9 on the Spotify Global Viral Charts. Filling out the tour will be thumping live act Johnny Third in Melbourne, the renowned TXNK bringing the party in Adelaide and AUSTEN sharing her signature beats in Brisbane.
Just A Gent is currently in the USA touring after a stellar year with his singles – ‘Heavy as a Heartbreak’, ‘Loaded’ and ‘Rolling Dice’ all added to triple j rotation and garnering huge plays online include a Hype Machine #1. His jaw dropping Like A Version taking on Kid Cudi’s ‘Day N Nite’ is still growing with over 430,000 views.
Just A Gent will be joined on tour by some very special guests as he performs tracks from his EP Stories to Tell, bringing his signature bangers to the fans in a new and exciting setting.
