[News] MUSIC THAT MATTERS BUSHFIRE BENEFIT

Australia has been devastated by catastrophic bushfires currently ravaging our country. 23 people have been killed, an estimated 480 million animals have perished since bushfires in NSW started in September 2019. Over seven million hectares of land have burned in the fires, an area, according to The New York Times, that is six times the size of the 2019 Amazon fires. At least 1700 homes have been destroyed across the country in the fires. These fires are still burning.

In response to this crisis the Music That Matter Bushfire Benefit has been announced today, an event bringing together some of our finest local artists, donating their talents to play a very special show on Tuesday 14th of January at The Gasometer Hotel in Collingwood.

Featuring Julia Jacklin, GL, Good Morning, Romy Vager (RVG), Loose Tooth, Jade Imagine, Elizabeth, Bitch Diesel, Dianas, Leah Senior, Sweet Whirl, The Faculty, Crepes, Batts, Eilish Gilligan, Snowy Band, Chitra, Moonlover, El Tee + DJ sets between bands from: Harvey Sutherland, Ara Koufax, Shaad, Sullivan & Nkechi Anele.

100% of funds from this show will be donated directly to the RFS, CFA, WIRES & The Fire Relief Fund For First Nations Communities. Tickets for this event are on sale now HERE. Facebook event HERE.
