[News] NEXT EXIT FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES HUGE LINE-UP FOR INAUGURAL EVENT

NEXT EXIT Festival, the latest edition to the Australian festival circuit, has officially unveiled the line-up for its inaugural event today, jam packed with local Aussie talent.

The announcement also includes a pledge from the promoters to shine a light on not only Australian music but regional towns across New South Wales, ensuring that live music reaches fans outside of Australia’s capital cities during such a challenging time for the country.

Setting its sights on the road less travelled, NEXT EXIT Festival includes four new events that will take place in regional locations across NSW this May, with live music from psych-rock outfit Ocean Alley, Spacey Jane, which recently became the highest-ranking Australian artist of the Hottest 100, Northern Beaches four-piece Dear Seattle, NSW local Merci, Mercy and sister duo CLEWS.

Kicking off in Bicentennial Park in Tamworth on Friday 21 May, the full festival line-up will make its way around regional NSW, with additional shows in Gosford and Batemans Bay, before finishing up in the picturesque surrounds of the Mudgee Showgrounds in Mudgee.

NEXT EXIT, which takes place over two weekends in May, will place an emphasis on engaging local businesses to partake in the event, with a goal to drive economic activity, encourage regional tourism and highlight local tastemakers and artisans.
