Quite possibly the most destructive and heaviest tour of the year will roar across the nation this May with US tech-death giants, Origin leading, A Million Dead Birds Laughing and Eternal Rest through a six date reign of terror.
One of the most intense and technical forces in the contemporary death metal world, Origin have staked their claim as leaders of the new wave of extremity. Melbourne’s A Million Dead Birds Laughing are an untameable force of nature and Brisbane’s Eternal Rest have technical ferocity down to a fine art and are primed to spread their venom to all who stand in their path.
To make these nights in hell even more chaotic, if that was at all possible, the following legion of brutal bastards have been added as the openers.
Beginning at the Amplifier in Perth, DeathFuckingCunt and Dawn Of Leviathan will get things off to a crushing start before passing the kill order over to In The Burial and Tzun Tzu to make sure the people at Fowlers Live in Adelaide know they are about to be slaughtered.
With NO days off on the tour schedule its up to the mighty King Parrot and Whoretopsy to set the mood at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne so the headliners can feed off the crowds energy and sustain them for the shows that remain. Somehow we don’t see that as being a problem…incidentally, King Parrot will be the main support on this leg.
The Stag in Sydney get to experience the tortured sounds of Bastardizer ahead of everyone else on the bill and again King Parrot, who have hijacked the tour bus up from Melbourne, will be main support.
Saturday night in Newcastle and all the fun will be at The Cambridge Hotel where The Seer and Grim Demise will be reminding punters that they are in for a night of pain and suffering at the hands of those that follow them.
Finally, as the tour crashes into Brisbane, the Electric Playground will let Disentomb and Defamer loose first in an attempt to tame the wild hordes of the north.
Prepare yourself for a night of depraved aural madness. You won’t be the same afterwards.
