Having released his new Blues & Roots EP Wayfaring Stranger last September, Rick Price continues his national tour through to January ’24 Australian tour.
The original hymns have spanned centuries with other gospels songs being written in the early 1900’s like ‘Wayfaring Stranger’, ‘Amazing Grace’, ‘Wade In The Water, and ‘Will The Circle Be Unbroken’. They have resonated and been covered by legends such as, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Eva Cassidy, Oliva Newton-John, Ray Charles, Ed Sheeran and now Rick Price.
This soul stirring EP takes you on an uplifting journey with Rick’s renditions of some of the most popular gospel tracks ever written. Rick recorded and produced Wayfaring Stranger in Nashville with some legendary US musicians, Tom Bukovac on guitar, Dennis Crouch on bass, Jimmy Wallace on organ/piano and, Joshua Hunt on drums.
