[News] THE MAIN GUY & THE OTHER GUYS TO RELEASE DEBUT EP

Main Guy BandBanner-2

This four piece bomb of fun is the best thing to have come out of Newcastle since the last best thing came out of there! Their debut EP (50% funded by fans via Pozible) showcases the vast variety in their music AND the weird majority of their lyrical content – its comedy mixed with cracking pop and cheesy rock!

The first single, ‘Partyhard (P-A-R-T-Y-H-A-R-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D)’, was accompanied by a video clip launched on New Year’s Eve 2012 via YouTube to great reviews, exceeding 5500 hits so far! Their second single, ‘Just a Roll of Toiletpaper’, was launched in mid June as a lead-up to the EP Launch Tour in July – which takes the band to Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle and the Central Coast.

Their live show encourages sing-along’s from the first song, laugh-along’s from the second, they serve crackers and cheese by the third and before you know it you are in the jungle – playing tambourine with Tambo Rambo! Every show includes costume changes!

More clips are to come later in the year – and remember: If you play your cards right, you can probably win a game of cards.

IMPORTANT/HELPFUL FACTS ABOUT THE MAIN GUY
The Duke aka The Main Guy (Lead Vocals & Keys) – Used to be “just the drummer” in Mojo Juju & the Snake Oil Merchants. Can easily speak Norwegian fluently. Once was mistaken for a homeless person in New Zealand and made $2.40.

General facts about The Other Guys:
Maurice Silver Harrington (Lead Guitar) – Was a supportive actor in Home & Away and All Saints. Owns and runs a Cafe & 2nd-Hand Bookstore. Can make himself sneeze.
