[News] THE SCREAMING JETS ANNOUNCE C’MON SUMMER TOUR DATES FOR JANUARY AND FEBRUARY 2022

The Screaming Jets have announced a very select run of dates, on their C’MON SUMMER tour of January and February 2022. Kicking off at legendary Adelaide venue The Bridgeway Hotel on January 21, they’ll showcase a vast array of hits and fan favourites. Following Adelaide, they’ll head to QLD and NSW, winding up with 2 shows at Sydney’s Bridge Hotel on February 11 and 12.

Dave Gleeson explains, “We’ve had to postpone all of our 2021 shows until mid 2022 – when the opportunity came up to schedule some shows for the summer season – we couldn’t say no. The boys and myself are itching to get out there and play live again – bring it on!!!

The Screaming Jets are riding high with the 30 Year Anniversary Edition of their groundbreaking debut album ALL FOR ONE sitting in the ARIA Albums Chart at No.4 and No.1 on the vinyl chart, proving they are just as much a force to be reckoned with now as they were when they first kicked off back in Newcastle in 1990.

Don’t miss this opportunity to rock on with The Jets this summer!

22 October 2021

The Screaming Jets have dropped the 30 Year Anniversary Edition of their groundbreaking debut album All For One and announce their rescheduled national tour dates. Dave Gleeson says, “If you’ve ordered the album and a ticket – don’t worry we’ve got you. The album will be sent out week of release and your ticket will move to the rescheduled dates

The Screaming Jets took the Aussie music scene by the scruff of the neck back in 1990, emerging from Newcastle to give it a red hot shake! Before they had even signed their first record deal with rooArt Records, the Screaming Jets had already clocked up more than 200 live shows, won the ‘Triple J Battle Of The Bands’ competition and established themselves as an onstage, no holds barred, powerhouse of Aussie rock n roll.

In 1991 they released their debut album All For One, which peaked at #2 on the ARIA charts. The second single from the album, ‘Better’ was the song that introduced the band to the world and saw The Screaming Jets embark on their first international tour – to Europe, UK, USA and Canada.

Flash forward to 2021 and as a 30 year anniversary celebration, and a tip of the hat to where it all began, the current lineup has re-recorded the All For One album with a fresh new take. Overseen by original producer, Steve James, the album has been repackaged with new artwork with a clear reference to the original.

12 August 2021

It’s with extreme disappointment that The Screaming Jets have announced today a delay in the release of the 30 Year Anniversary Edition of their groundbreaking debut album ALL FOR ONE. The release date will now be October 22, 2021. Accompanying this change is the rescheduling of all current tour dates, into 2022, with new dates to be advised in due course.

Both changes are unavoidable given the current status of border restrictions and Covid lockdowns across Australia. All album pre-orders and tickets will remain valid for these new dates.

The band has sent the following message to fans via social media: “Unfortunately, for all the obvious reasons, we are going to have to postpone our 30th Anniversary tour and album release. We will come back to you with new tour dates as soon as we can – there are a lot of great people working on how we can deliver this tour for you in the best way possible. But we’re not the only band suffering in this instance so please give us a moment to work through it, while we all work together to keep Aussie music live. The covid situation is also impacting on the production of the physical version of the album so we need to move its release date to October 22nd, 2021 – so we can deliver it to you direct on vinyl or CD to allow you to play it loud and proud.”

If you’re ordered the album and a ticket – don’t worry we’ve got you. The album will be sent out week of release still and your ticket will move to the rescheduled date.

Thanks for supporting us – we would love to show how much we appreciate you – we will soon when we can see you again, hot and sweaty in a venue!

20 July 2021

With just under a month until The Screaming Jets drop the 30 Year Anniversary Edition of their groundbreaking debut album ALL FOR ONE, the band has today announced changes to their national touring schedule.

With the inability to predict when touring through wider NSW can resume in any normal fashion, it is with great disappointment that the band has postponed their NSW dates scheduled for August. They will look to reschedule in 2022 with further announcements to be made in due course – people are encouraged to hold on to their tickets as they will still be valid.

The locations in question are:

YOUNG SERVICES CLUB, YOUNG, NSW
BATHURST PANTHERS, BATHURST, NSW
BELMONT 16S, BELMONT, NSW
SAWTELL RSL, SAWTELL, NSW
CENTRAL HOTEL, SHELLHARBOUR, NSW
REVESBY WORKERS , REVESBY, NSW

In their place are 6 new shows across Queensland and Victoria:

THUR 26 AUG – KING’S BEACH TAVERN, KINGS BEACH, QLD
FRI 27 AUG – BEENLEIGH TAVERN, BEENLEIGH, QLD
FRI 10 SEPT – PIER BANDROOM, FRANKSTON, VIC
SAT 11 SEPT – VILLAGE GREEN, MULGRAVE, VIC
FRI 17 SEPT – CHELSEA HEIGHTS HOTEL, CHELSEA HEIGHTS, VIC

Dave Gleeson said today, “It’s such a bloody disappointment that we can’t get to these NSW shows that we had planned for August, such is the current state of touring and border closures. Obviously the health and wellbeing of all of us is of paramount importance. On a brighter note, we have added 6 shows for Queensland and Victoria and we can’t wait to hit the road and play shows again, and to unleash ‘All For One’ on fans again!
