[News] TRACES ANNOUNCE NATIONAL HEADLINE TOUR

Traces recently unleashed ‘Can’t Stop Me’ and initiated a movement on social media of the same name to open up conversation about mental health. ‘Can’t Stop Me’ is an anthem of rebellion and a fight against everyone’s own worst enemy – themselves. To celebrate the release, the Tamworth trio are today announcing a national headline tour in January 2020, launching their epic rock tunes in Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.

FRIDAY 17 JANUARY – CROWBAR – BRISBANE
FRIDAY 24 JANUARY – CAMBRIDGE HOTEL – NEWCASTLE
SATURDAY 25 – JANUARY – FACTORY FLOOR – SYDNEY
TUESDAY 28 JANUARY – THE BASEMENT – CANBERRA
THURSDAY 30 JANUARY – LAST CHANCE ROCK & ROLL BAR – MELBOURNE

‘Can’t Stop Me’ was an entirely DIY offering, from the engineering, mixing and mastering by vocalist Jack Pallett all the way to the video clip. The track is ultimately about overcoming self doubt and facing and accepting the negative side of who you are, your personality and what you put into the world.

Pallett says “we all have an idea of who we want to be, an ideal image of ourselves that we all strive for. Often pressure from outer influences like friends, family and society can make it hard to be who we want, but ultimately the biggest thing stopping us from realising our dreams, goals and aspirations is ourselves, our own self doubt and the negative side of who we are that we all pretend doesn’t exist.”

Traces started with humble beginnings, playing opening slots at local gigs and building their way up to headlining sold out hometown shows and playing alongside bands to the likes of Dream on Dreamer, Attila (US), In Hearts Wake, Hellions, Polaris and Ocean Grove.
