Surely one of the countries most mercurial bands, The Vines, made a musical statement this month with the release of a double album, Wicked Nature.
And now after a three year hiatus from any touring the band announced today they will return to the stage for an exclusive one off show to perform the new material.
Fittingly our most iconic garage band The Vines will perform in the carpark of the Vic on the Park hotel, Enmore. The show will be on the October long weekend, Sunday Oct 5th from 1pm – 6pm. It’s a free show and 18+ only. Entry will be on a first in, first served basis.
The show will be the first performance by the new rhythm section of Tim John and Lachlan West who both recorded Wicked Nature with the perennial frontman Craig Nicholls.
The Vines have made the perfect choice of supports, bringing along two of Sydney’s finest in snot-nosed punkers Chicks Who Love Guns and upstart pop and rollers The Lulu Raes, The Vines will be in good company for their return to the live stage and their will be more special guests added so stay tuned!!
