Ohh Grapevine Gathering, how we love your fine selection of grape juice coupled with the best soundtrack of the Summer. This year’s Gathering is an absolute corker, and it got us thinking, what should we be drinking while listing to these fine artists? Being a beer drinker myself, I felt the best people to ask would be the artists themselves.

The question was quite simple: Which one of your songs would best go with a classy red (or white) wine, and why?

CROOKED COLOURS: ‘Just Breathe’ [is] the perfect track to sit back and enjoy a wine! As one of our more mellow tracks, it doesn’t require you to dance but it’s dynamic rise and falls will definitely perk your interest while you are “sippin’ on last drops“. With a tinge of darker lyrics, it would pair well with one of the heavier reds like a Cab Sav.

JACK RIVER: ‘Confess’ with a glass of red to pinterest your future wedding with whoever you associate the chorus with.

LOVEBIRDS: ‘In The Shadows’ with a glass of amazing red wine because the wine stains on your shirt will always remind you of how much you freaked out to that song!

ARNO FARAJI: I’d probably say ‘Sneakers’… it gets you in your feels but in the “I’m better without you” kind of way – and whilst wine faded that’s a good feeling lol
