Typically held over the October Long Weekend, the line up for the 7th annual ‘cosmic country weekender’ originally intended for October 2021 was an absolute beauty, featuring over 40 Australian acts, including heavy weights such as The Black Sorrows, William Crighton, Liz Stringer, The Murlocs, Jeff Lang and Tracy McNeil.

Fortunately the line up has remained reasonably intact for the rescheduled February event, alongside some exciting bonus additions including surprise homecoming guest Nashville based Australian, Jordi Lane.

Other acts to join the reschedule include Lyle Dennis, T.Wilds, The Tall Stories and Piper Butcher. Acts who couldn’t make the rescheduled event for February, including Claire Anne Taylor, Fools, Caitlin Hartnett and the Pony Boys, The Long Johns, Doc Halibut, Sue Ray and Albi & the Wolves, you will see pop up on other Dashville events in the near future, including Dashville Skyline when it returns again to its usual timeline of October in 2022.

The full three day line-up for February is outlined below. The vibe is unanimous. The music industry is absolutely ready to roll and hanging to converge upon the hallowed bushland of Dashville in the Hunter Valley, NSW for a much needed return to the scene of this well respected country-inspired festival.

Rolling out over three days, the boutique camping festival is essentially a celebration of classic songwriting and the great folk and country artists from the 60s and 70s that continue to inspire modern generations of music purists and enthusiasts alike.

Taking its name from a 1968 Bob Dylan record, Dashville Skyline is a weekend escape full of timeless live music, a myriad of artistic collaborations, loads of family activities, markets, workshops, antique car and instrument displays, great Americana inspired food and laid-back old-school country-inspired camping amongst the pristine bushland of the beautiful Hunter Valley.

Please welcome,

Dashville Skyline will be making a move to February 25, 26, 27 2022. Although a tough decision it’s the best one for our health, and gives our Cosmic Country Weekender the best chance of happening.

It’s been a tough few weeks watching the evolving COVID situation in NSW. It hasn’t looked good for Dashville Skyline for a while, though we held off as long as we could in order to ensure we made the right, most informed decision.

It’s certainly a tough sandwich to chew on. You were sooo keen and we’d invested a lot of hope and energy into the return of Dashville Skyline in 2021, particularly after the saga of 2020.

However all is not lost!

We’ve had a positive response from all the bands on the bill, and it’s looking good for the vast majority of this epic line up to be able to transition across to February for when there is suggested to be some greener pastures, hopefully growing free range frolics, boogie time, hugs and laughter.

As we continue to work through all these changes, we’d like to thank everyone for being so patient and sympathetic to the current situation with the event/music industry.

All ticket holders will receive correspondence via email. There’s no need for concern, we’ll continue to keep everyone in the loop. If you can’t make the new date, you simply request a credit transfer at any point in the lead up.

For those able to do so, we suggest booking those holidays in now!
