[News] GREEN BUZZARD ANNOUNCES FIRST HEADLINE SHOWS IN TWO YEARS

After relocating to LA for a time, Sydney indie-rocker Green Buzzard will return to home soil for his first headline shows since 2017. Playing iconic club venues – Yah Yah’s in Melbourne on Friday 20 September and The Chippo Hotel in Sydney on Saturday 21 September – the tour will see Paddy Harrowsmith (Green Buzzard) and his band deliver his first live shows in two years.

Friday 20 September | Yah Yah’s | Melbourne, VIC
Saturday 21 September | The Chippo Hotel | Sydney, NSW

Hot off the back of supporting the UK’s Wolf Alice, Harrowsmith is itching to get back onstage and showcase a swag of brand new music, including his latest buzzy and infectious single ‘I Don’t Want To Be Alone’ as well as favourites ‘Do You Ever Glow’, ‘Zoo Fly’ and ‘Never Let Me Go’.

Produced by Dave Sitek (TV On The Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Weezer) at his rambling LA studio, ‘I Don’t Want To Be Alone’ marks a new chapter for Green Buzzard. Dialling back the distortion in favour of a new-found clarity and directness, the song allows Harrowsmith’s knack for writing an undeniable earworm to shine. The result is Green Buzzard at his most instant and sophisticated.

With more new music on the near horizon, don’t miss Green Buzzard in his live return this spring.
