Due to overwhelming demand in Sydney, tickets for UK indie folk singer-songwriter Laura Marling’s third show at St Stephen’s Uniting Church on WEDNESDAY JULY 24 is now on sale after her first two shows on Monday July 22 and Tuesday July 23 sold out within 24 hours.
With the staging set inside a church in each city, the shows are part of a unique series of shows in Sydney (St Stephen’s Uniting Church, July 22-24), Adelaide (Flinders Street Baptist Church, July 25), Perth (St Joseph’s Church, Subiaco, July 26)and Melbourne (St Michael’s Uniting Church, July 30-31). There are only a limited number of tickets still available in Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne, with the first Melbourne show on July 30 already sold out. Following the run of Laura Marling’s Heavenly Sounds show, she will be performing at Splendour in the Grass.
Laura will perform songs from her new fourth album, Once I Was An Eagle, which has just debuted at #12 on the ARIA Albums Chart, as well as a selection of older material. Admired from near and far for the songwriting that is beyond her years, Laura Marling has won a Brit Award, two Mercury Music Prize nominations, and an NME Award for Best Solo Artist.
