SARAH BLASKO ANNOUNCES REGIONAL TOUR
AND REVEALS ‘ALL OF ME’

Sarah Blasko returns to Australia in July after spending time in Paris, supporting the release of her album and performing throughout Europe. Accompanied by her long time band, Sarah will travel to regional Australia, from Bunbury to Ballarat, for this extensive tour. She will also be stopping by Byron Bay for a special performance at the sold out Splendour in the Grass festival.

The tour news follows the reveal of the latest track lifted from Sarah’s fourth album, I Awake – ‘All Of Me’, the video for which is as pure and unsettling as the song itself.

Working with Wilk, an admired visual artist with whom Blasko has collaborated on many occasions, the pair set out to create a performance based video that was at once, equally beautiful and strange. Watch it HERE

More akin to the art house films of Béla Tarr and Michelangelo Antonioni than a pop video, Wilk says of the process: “I took the song literally: lyrically and emotionally. Sarah wanted something intimate, simple. The result is an unconventional single take video. The altered state of Sarah’s appearance and her apparent nudity is in purpose devoid of sexuality, replacing it with honesty, bravery and intimacy.”

Blasko adds: “We wanted to blur the border between the natural and the unnatural. The song itself likens falling in love to the purity of being a newborn but love is also at its best when it comes from a place of understanding and experience.”

For those who cannot wait until July to experience Sarah Blasko live, triple j will be broadcasting her Melbourne show from February’s I Awake tour as part of their Live At the Wireless series on Monday 10th June.

‘All Of Me’ is taken from the album I Awake – out now through Dew Process/Universal Music Australia. Tickets to Sarah’s regional tour are on sale Tuesday 11 June.
