[News] FLETCHER SELL OUT BRISBANE, MELBOURNE, AUCKLAND

Only a few months remain until U.S. pop superstar FLETCHER is on Australian and New Zealand shores, bringing her one of a kind live show to fans this July!

The tour, originally rescheduled from Summer 2023, has become one of the most anticipated with tickets to FLETCHER’s 2024 shows selling with rapid pace. Brisbane, Melbourne and Auckland shows have now sold out, while limited tickets for the rest of her Australian shows remain, with fans urged to get theirs before they follow suit.

At the moment, FLETCHER is touring her beloved debut album, GIRL OF MY DREAMS, and her recent sophomore studio record, IN SEARCH OF THE ANTIDOTE, through Europe, where the songwriter and performer has been welcomed with open arms. With Australia and New Zealand set to follow on from this leg of her world tour, FLETCHER’s dream is fast becoming a reality.

Needing to reschedule her global touring commitments following health issues, FLETCHER spent the remainder of 2023 focusing on healing, prioritising her health so that when she was able to return to stages around the world, she would be in the best position to do so.

As her recent shows in Europe have been proving, FLETCHER is back on deck and serving up the type of live show built on a foundation of unity, celebration and pure fun. The release of FLETCHER’s 2024 album, IN SEARCH OF THE ANTIDOTE, has bolstered the New Jersey-born artist’s catalogue of music; vivid and unfiltered storytelling that connects with a hungry generation of music fans seeking connection through pop music.

Created with GRAMMY winning producer/songwriter JENNIFER DECILVEO (Andra Day, Marina), with a team of collaborators including One Love (Tate McRae, Hailee Steinfeld) and Jon Bellion (Camila Cabello, Halsey), IN SEARCH OF THE ANTIDOTE is polished and elevated, a fitting follow up and portrait of evolution from FLETCHER, whose profile has only continued to grow in recent years.

Of the album, FLETCHER has said, “Over the years, I’ve looked for the antidote in so many things: women, the road, the stage, fans, spirituality and self-reflection. Making this album was an excavation, a deep dive where I asked myself what would truly heal me, and my ultimate realization was that love is the antidote. From the Finding Fletcher EP to ‘you ruined new york city for me’ to THE S(EX) TAPES to ‘Girl Of My Dreams’, love has always been my muse. But before now, I don’t think I’d ever really looked at love through all the different lenses and angles and discovered all its infinite manifestations. That’s what this album is about for me.”

Touring in support of her acclaimed debut album GIRL OF MY DREAMS, FLETCHER will be reigniting the flame with her loyal fan base across Australia and New Zealand on this tour; starting in Perth before working her way around the country, then hopping over the Tasman to finish the tour off with an unmissable show in Auckland.

FORTITUDE MUSIC HALL, BRISBANE | THURSDAY 18 JULY 2024
FESTIVAL HALL, MELBOURNE | TUESDAY 23 JULY 2024

For fans in Melbourne, the two shows that were initially slated for The Forum, have now been combined to facilitate a venue upgrade; this show will now take place at Festival Hall.

The last few months have seen FLETCHER needing to adjust her worldwide touring commitments, necessary after she received a diagnosis of Lyme Disease from her doctor.

At the time, FLETCHER had said, “you all know how much i love performing and seeing you on the road and i’m truly heartbroken to let you down. i debated on whether or not i wanted to speak about this publicly, but i’ve always let you into my world through the good, the bad and the ugly and i didn’t want to stop sharing with you now. unfortunately, touring & singing every night just isn’t something my body is capable of in this moment and i want to show up for you all 100% and give you the best show that i know that i have in me and one that you deserve.”

It makes today’s tour announcement that much more exciting – it’s a reveal FLETCHER is equally as excited to share. “hi angel, so excited to share with you the new dates for my upcoming tour. thank you from the bottom of my heart for your patience and love, it’s helped me heal in ways i can’t quite put into words. but for now all i’ll say is how amped i am to see your face and sing together. see you next year my love. always, fletcher x

Bringing the Girl Of My Dreams tour to Australia is such a dream come true for me. From the moment I released this album I had visions of performing it all around the world, and that fact that I’m getting to do that gives me chills. I’m looking forward to the summer, the sexy accents but definitely not the shooeys please don’t make me do that again. Can’t wait to see you all down under” FLETCHER

Hailing from Asbury Park, New Jersey, FLETCHER received industry acclaim early in her career – largely due to her natural and candid storytelling talent, exemplified on her debut EP, you ruined new york city for me, in 2019. The record featured FLETCHER’s breakout hit ‘Undrunk’, which scored the #1 spot on Spotify’s Viral Chart; an early indicator of the musician’s potential. Following this up with 2020’s, THE S(EX) TAPES, FLETCHER returned triumphant, adding to her winning scorecard with songs like ‘Bitter’ fast-climbing to 250 million global streams.

FLETCHER made new waves with GIRL OF MY DREAMS, landing within the Top 15 of the Billboard 200: a powerfully potent collection of songs that provided 2022’s most memorable pop moments, including ‘Becky’s So Hot’, ‘Sting’ and ‘Better Version’ To date, FLETCHER has amassed over one billion streams globally,

The release of GIRL OF MY DREAMS brought solidified FLETCHER as a U.S. star with staying power. Among her achievements during the album cycle, FLETCHER performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, completed a sold out 25-date tour of North America, and joined Miley Cyrus for a rendition of ‘Midnight Sky’ as part of Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party – another viral moment of 2022.

The GIRL OF MY DREAMS TOUR will be an unmissable opportunity for fans to experience the album live, and fall further in love with FLETCHER as she makes her way to both countries at the end of 2023.
