Midway through a national tour supporting their latest undeniable radio single ‘Bullsh*t Aside’, Sydney based five-piece Lime Cordiale are pleased to release an accompanying video clip just days before their hometown show in Sydney at The Standard this weekend.

Reflecting the band’s unique brand of Australian hook-laded rock, ‘Bullsh*t Aside’ has snared the attention of listeners throughout the country thanks local blog support and radio airplay from the likes of youth broadcaster triple j. With a cast and crew comprising over sixty of the band’s talented friends and supporters, the ‘Bullsh*t Aside’ video clip was self-directed by Lime Cordiale co-frontman and part-time film director Oli Leimbach.

“Before getting stuck in to the band, I was working as a film editor for a few people around Sydney. I just didn’t like sitting in a dark room all day.” says Leimbach. “It’s different editing your own stuff, though. You can be as much of a control freak as you want.”

The track is the leading single from the band’s sophomore EP Falling Up The Stairs, which was recorded over 4 months with Sydney-based producer Daniel Denholm (Washington, The Whitlams, Midnight Oil).

The last 12 months have seen Lime Cordiale perform to receptive audiences right around the country, including a sold-out headline show at The Standard in Sydney, a highly successful residency at The Beresford, and well received sets at Homebake, Peats Ridge and Deni Blues Festival. The band have also recently shared stages with the likes of The Rubens, Cosmo Jarvis (UK), the Specials (UK), Ball Park Music, Hey Geronimo, The Griswolds and Electric Empire.

Lime Cordiale are currently touring around the country supporting the release of ‘Bullsh*t Aside’, with the end of the first touring leg throughout NSW set to wrap up this weekend in Sydney and Newcastle.
