[News] SAN CISCO REVEAL NEW SINGLE AND ANNOUNCE WORLD TOUR

Off the back of a solid SOLD OUT National Tour across the country and the release of ‘Skin’, San Cisco release brand new follow up track ‘Reasons’.

San Cisco have a knack for a great hook in their songs. ‘Reasons’ is an affirmation to someone you love to share some dark shit and just “let it go”, but delivered in the most positive, catchy and meaningful way, as only San Cisco do. With added production and mixing from Chris Coady (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Beach House, Grizzly Bear), ‘Reasons’ is a continuation of the indie pop signature sound the band have become known for after the release of genre-bending previous single ‘Skin’.

This song is about letting the person you love know that you feel their pain and it is ok to be vulnerable. We make mistakes all the time but we can heal these fractures in our relationships with communication and trust. The sentiment is not about dismissing the pain but more about sharing it.” – Jordi Davieson

The video sees the band team up again with Melbourne-based director Freya Esders following on from their collaboration for previous single ‘Skin’. Filmed at the Coburg Town Hall in Melbourne, ‘Reasons’ is a visual accompaniment of abstract imagery, performance, fashion and a thematic exploration of themes from the track with Esders’ signature style and cinematography.

Off the back of a run of SOLD OUT tour dates in 2019, the indie-pop trio have just announced a World Tour in support of their Flaws EP. Back home in Australia, they will tour the country as part of the 2020 Groovin’ The Moo line up as well as hitting the road for an additional headline run with a different support act for each show. The Flaws EP will be released globally on March 27th and will include ‘Skin’, ‘Reasons’ and more, a taste of what’s to come from their 4th studio album due later in the year.
