[News] HAYDEN JAMES ANNOUNCES NATIONAL TOUR

Beloved Sydney-based producer Hayden James, today announces he’ll be firing-up dance floors across Australia with a mammoth national tour in September, presented by Falcona, Red Light, Future Classic and triple j.

Following an epic US tour and festival run, Hayden’s homecoming tour will be the world premiere of his new live show. Kicking off at Melbourne’s iconic Forum Theatre on September 7, he’ll then head west to play at Perth’s Astor Theatre on September 8. A week later, Hayden will head to Brisbane for a show at The Triffid on September 15, before bringing the tour to a close in his home city at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on September 21. Having sold out his last three Australian tours, fans should move quick as these shows are one night only, with no extra dates in store. Pre-sale tickets are available now, with general on-sale from 10am on Wednesday May 16.

The prolific run of shows builds on what has been yet another impressive year for James, with the recent release of his single ‘Just Friends’. The track is an infectious four-minutes of pitched-down soulful harmonies, driving bass lines and direct vocals from Boy Matthews – all wrapped within Hayden’s signature twist of alluring momentum and rolling grooves. ‘Just Friends’ follows on from the previous platinum-certified summer anthem, ‘NUMB’ featuring GRAACE which is a captivating arrangement of velvety vocals and crafty synthesisers.

Since bursting onto the scene with his timeless debut ‘Permission to Love’ & his debut self-titled EP which followed, Hayden James has found worldwide love and acclaim – consistently topping Hype Machine and international tastemaker blogs as well as becoming one of triple j’s most played artists. Meanwhile, James’ lavish remix treatment has been showcased on tracks by RÜFÜS, Dillon Francis & T.E.E.D, Safia, Duke Dumont and ODESZA.

Along with his growing and highly praised catalogue of releases (which have collectively reached over 120 million Spotify streams), Hayden James has toured the world numerous times. Headlining his own shows across North America, support duties for the likes of Duke Dumont, ODESZA and Disclosure, as well as being crowned a festival favourite at the UK’s Glastonbury and Latitude, Copenhagen’s Roskilde and Coachella and Lollapalooza in the US. At home, James has toured the country multiple times selling out headline shows and performing stand-out sets at Byron’s Splendour In The Grass and Victoria’s Beyond the Valley.

After busy stints in the studio, finessing his own material and co-writing for the likes of Katy Perry, Hayden will next gear up for a huge run of homecoming performances. Don’t miss witnessing his all new live show at some of Australia’s finest venues this September.
