[News] HAYDEN JAMES ANNOUNCES NATIONAL ‘JUST A LOVER’ HEADLINE TOUR

Hayden James-Edit--3-2

On the back of extensive touring throughout Europe and the US over the past 18 months – including recent festival stops at Glastonbury, Roskilde and Firefly – Hayden James today announces his largest national headline tour to date. Celebrating the recent release of his eagerly anticipated new single ‘Just A Lover’ that premiered via Stereogum and triple j – the ‘Just A Lover’ tour visits all major corners of the country this August and September.

After the success of the Sydney producer’s ARIA nominated, 2015 Gold single ‘Something About You’, that swept across clubs, radio and festival floors becoming a global dance hit, the world waited patiently for more. Currently on triple j rotation, ‘Just a Lover’ delivers on the lush house expectations with Hayden’s unique lyrics and now signature sound resonating across the globe. With his 2015 Australian tour a complete sell-out and hints of a larger selection of music on the way, move quickly to avoid disappointment.

From Hayden James: “It’s been an absolute privilege to play some of the biggest and most prestigious festivals in the world recently, but there’s nothing quite like coming home. These will be my largest headline shows to date and I can not wait to share new music with you guys.”

Hayden today reveals fast-rising singer/dancer/producer Dena Amy as the tour’s very special guest – her debut single ‘Wait For You’ recently landing on Sweat It Out. Dena started 2016 with her debut appearance at Coachella before returning home to tour nationally with RüfüS on their enormous sold out album run. Dena features on RüfüS’ sophomore album Bloom with their collaboration ‘Hypnotised’.

Hayden James’ debut track ‘Permission To Love’ garnered worldwide love in 2013, hitting #1 most-blogged on Hype Machine, and becoming one of the most played tracks on triple j. What followed was a debut EP release on Future Classic, a string of remixes for RüfüS, Dillon Francis & T.E.E.D, Safia, Duke Dumont and ODESZA and two Australian national tours. BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong labelled follow-up ‘Something About You’ a song to watch in 2015. Their prediction was spot on, with the radio favourite scoring an ARIA nomination for ‘Best Dance Release’ and landing #44 on triple j’s Hottest 100 countdown. To date ‘Something About You’ has had over 40 million online plays and counting.

As part of a jam-packed world tour totalling more than 30 dates – don’t miss seeing Hayden James’ visually stunning live show and highly anticipated home lap around Australia this August and September.
