Brisbane’s loveable larrikins Shag Rock are back, about to end the year on a high with their biggest Australian tour yet in support of their soon-to-be released single, ‘Old School Lover’ – out Thursday, 19th September.

Their first release of 2019, ‘Old School Lover’ builds upon the “Shaggers” signature playful rock blend in an electrifying glimpse into what’s to come. Over the past two years Shag Rock’s unique rise has only become more exciting as their loyal fanbase has grown. With sold out shows across Australia and a sold out 8-date run across New Zealand in December, the four-piece have managed to chalk up a whopping 15 million total streams globally.

Currently dusting off their energetic live show and raring to bring their explosive energy back on the road, Shag Rock are set to test new tracks amongst old favourites across seven locations in October and December – their first national tour since 2018’s successful ‘Double Life’ tour. Expect classic sing-alongs such as ‘Champagne’, and ‘Coconut’ as well their Summer-inducing breakthrough single, ‘Sunbleached Girl’, which has clocked a whopping 6 million streams and rising.

The band’s spirited live performance has seen them support and play with a raft of Aussie legends, including The Rubens, Ocean Alley, Tia Gostelow and Lime Cordiale, not to mention hit the stage at a slew of tastemaker music festivals.
